Valentine's Day is around the corner, and we are eager to surprise our partners with something special, but are running out of ideas. Let me make that easy for you
5. And yes, get that gift.
1. Use those stickies.
Remember how in F.R.I.E.N.D.S., Rachel used to leave small notes for Monica here and there. You can do the same for your partner! Stick a small love note on the bathroom mirror - their day starts with a smile
Then one stickie on the kitchen counter and so on so forth as their day advances they keep finding love notes from you - making them feel extra special!
2. Build some vibe - a lil extra effort only helps us make our partners feel special:
There's no limit to making someone feel special. You can pick their favorite color, show or character. Get some balloons, order that cake and maybe print some of your pictures together and hang them on fairy lights. You can drop the balloons if you want and just go for fairy lights. Also add some candles to the scene to get that romantic effect. i'll add some images below for reference:
3. Get those flowers.
Yes! Get those flowers. Do not overthink this one. If you are a romantic, you know that flowers will never go cliche, ever!
4. Book a resort.
If you can afford this, then definitely go for it. Valentine's Day is on Saturday this year, and that calls and a perfect getaway wouldn't hurt! Book a resort and take your partner away from the everyday stress and let them relax. Bonus tip: Choose a resort with a free spa!
5. And yes, get that gift.
Make them feel extra special and make them feel loved a lil bit more than you do every day (or not everyday as we all get busy with lives and take each other for granted). Keep an eye out for my next post with Valentine's Day gift ideas (in-budget ideas included)
